Beans.
Navy beans 2 lb.
lean salt pork 1 lb.
molasses 1/2 cup
onion 1 small, quartered
mustard 2 tbs.
Soak beans overnight. Rinse in cold water. Put on stove in pot w/water and bring to a boil. Drain and put in crockpot. After scalding pork, add to crockpot, along with hot water, molasses, and mustard. Put crock pot on high for 5-6 hrs, then turn to low until beans are done. More water and molasses may be added as needed.
